Good results for the local tracksters!

Sleepy Eye Unified Track team finally got to compete outside—in New Ulm on April 26. Six teams competed in the meet.

Top finishers, boys:

100 meter dash—Luke Miller, eighth, 12.06

200 meter dash—Zach Schumacher, 10th, 25.48

400 meter dash— Miller, fifth, 1:00.20; Schumacher, eighth, 1:01.84; Isaac Nelson, 10th, 1:03.37

110 hurdles—Isaac Huiras, seventh, 19.53

300 hurdles—Isaac Huiras, seventh, 52.28

4x200 relay team—fourth place

Triple jump—Isaac Nelson, fifth, 36-00.50

Also earning points was James Hagen who competed in wheelchair events—100 and 200 meter dash and shot put.

800 meter run—Brianna Polesky, third, 2:50.31; McKenna Dockter, 10th, 3:07.32

1600 meter run—Abigail Hagen, third, 6:20.03; Polesky, fifth, 6:29.90

3200 meter run—Hagen, third, 13:28.90

4x100 relay team—fourth place

Triple jump—Hali Soukup, sixth, 29-01.00
