Sleepy Eye’s Madi Heiderscheidt has been invited to play in the Minnesota Girls High School All Star Game, this Saturday, April 7, at Carleton College in Northfield.

According to a press release from the All Star Committee, the top 40 senior girl basketball players were invited to participate. There will also be a banquet Friday evening to celebrate these high school athletes, one last time, and crown the 2018 Miss Basketball.

The top 10 players from each class will battle against each other—one last time in their high school careers. Games are at 1 and 3 p.m. Tickets are good for both games and can be purchased at the door.

Have a daughter in K-4th grade? There is a FREE youth clinic, put on by the All-Stars and the Timberwolves and Lynx Basketball Academy, Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30 at Carleton College’s West Gymnasium. Lynx phenomenons Rebekkah Brunson and Lindsay Whalen will be in attendance to help.
