St, Mary's boys basketball team loses in playoff game against Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity.
You know what they say—you win some, you lose some. Unfortunately for the St. Mary’s Knights boys basketball team, this was a “lose some only” season that ended Thursday night, March 1 in a first round playoff loss to Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity.

Despite the loss, Coach Tim Milliard had good things to say about his team’s effort. “This was one of our better games of the season,” he said. “The guys really competed the entire game and I was definitely proud of how they played and their overall effort.”
The Knights were led by Collin Ludewig with 18 points and nine rebounds and Carter Currans with 14 points. Dalton Meyer scored 12 points and got five rebounds. Fellow senior, Brandon Wait, scored eight points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
“This group was a pleasure to coach,” Milliard said. “I will especially miss our two seniors, Brandon and Dalton.”
