The Knights opened outshooting the Mustangs in the first half. What ultimately kept the Mustangs trailing right behind them, was time at the free throw line.

In the second half, the Knights scored only two points in the opening eight minutes, giving BLHS time to close the gap and take a permanent lead.

“So far, our first three games of the season have been pretty similar to each other,” said Coach Tim Milliard. “We’ve competed well in every area except shooting percentage.”

Carter Currans continues to play a key role in his team’s offense, scoring 14 points. Collin Ludewig scored 11 points and secured 10 rebounds. Blake Steffensmeier sank nine points.

The Knights travel to Winthrop Friday, Dec. 8 to play the GFW Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m.
