New Ulm came into the meet with only one loss before facing off against the Wildcats. In this meet it came down to the singles, all four Wildcats won their games, while the doubles games went to New Ulm.

On Monday, Sept. 11 the Wildcats traveled to take on another Eagles team—Maple River. This time, however, their ambitions were stopped with a hard loss. Hanna Himmelman also took her first loss of the season.

The next night the Wildcats hosted the Blue Earth Area Buccaneers in what became the biggest loss the Wildcats have had this season. “We’ve had a rough week,” said coach Shane Laffen. “We have faced some good teams.”
