The Indians took a heavy loss with the Vikings managing three touchdowns in both the first and second quarter. The Vikings are the favored team for state again this year.

In the third quarter, with eight touchdowns against them, the Indians’ Landon Strong scored a touchdown to put the Indians on the board and keep the Vikings from a shutout win. The Vikings scored one more touchdown in the fourth quarter before the Indians came home.

The Indians host New Ulm Cathedral on Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m.
