Beltz, a forward, led the Big South Conference and is 12th in the state for goals with 31 and 19 assists for 50 points on the season. Weiss, a forward, had 16 goals and 12 assists this year and is second in both categories on the team with 28 total points. Ries, a goalie, had an outstanding year leading the state in two categories, save percentage with 96 percent and goals against average with .82 goals per game. Her record in the net was 16-3-4. The Eagles also had two honorable mentions. Ashtyn Wiltscheck, a forward, put 15 shots in the net and is the third leading scorer on the team along with eight assists for 23 points. Ally Steffensmeier is a freshman and plays defense. She had three goals and nine assists for a total of 12 points on the year. “We were honored to have five players selected to the Big South All Conference Team, “ coach Kristin Faber said. “These five players played a crucial role in our success as a team this past season and this award is a testament to the hard work these five put in both on and off the ice.”
