The 36th annual New Ulm Farm-City Hub Club Farm Show will be held Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11 in the New Ulm Civic Center. Friday’s hours are 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday’s hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Hub Club show is the largest indoor farm show in south-central Minnesota. It transforms the civic center into a showcase for ag-related products and services. The exhibition area contains over 20,000 square feet of display space that promotes all facets of the agricultural industry.

In addition, one area of the show is set aside for the Family Living Market with special products and services for home and personal use. There’s something for the kids, too, as the New Ulm FFA will be back with live baby animals and games for the kids.

The farm show also features six seminars on a variety of topics. Four are scheduled for Friday and two for Saturday.

•Friday, 1:30 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. — Keys to Optimizing a Healthier and Longer Life by Dr. Ann Vogel, New Ulm Medical Center.

•Friday, 3 p.m. — Mowing and Haying on MnDOT Right-of-Way by Minnesota Department of Transportation, Mankato.

•Friday, 5 p.m. — Keeping the Farm in the Family and Other Estate Planning Options by Shari Fischer, Shari Fischer Law, New Ulm.

•Friday, 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, 2 p.m. — Cash Flow Planning in Challenging Times by Kent Thiesse, Farm Management Analyst, MinnStar Bank, Lake Crystal.

As a service to producers, the Hub Club will sell first aid kits, emergency flashers and Slow Moving Vehicle decals at a discount.

Hub Club members will operate the food stand in the Civic Center entry, serving taco-in-a-bag, pizza, hot dogs and other treats.
