The Knights played an even game on Tuesday night. “It was a close game through out,” said coach Bruce Woitas.

Anna Lux came into the first half scoring 13 points. The Chargers fell behind in the first half, missing all but one of their free throw attempts. At half time the Knights were ahead 31-29.

In the second half, the Chargers managed to take advantage of a few key mistakes to pull ahead and then go on an eight point run to finish the game. “This was a tough loss, as it was a game we could have won,” Woitas said. “MVL played a great game and hit their free throws late in the game.”

The Knights were led by Lux with 22 points, six rebounds and three assists. Cassie Heinrichs got 14 points and four rebounds. Jody Hansen put up seven points, seven steals and three assists. The Knights stand 5-10 in the conference.
