Now that she is a part of the organization, she wants to grow outside of her comfort zone and try new things. McKenna is not on a CDE team currently but is considering joining one in the near future.

McKenna’s favorite FFA activity is meeting her pen pals at the end of the school year. She said it is exciting meeting new people and making friends that will last a lifetime. She also enjoys going on the bowling trip with the officers. McKenna has learned through FFA and Ag class that we are all sort of a big family. We make sure to help each other out when needed and cheer each other on as well. McKenna is proud that she attended over seven events throughout the summer and became a Summer All-Star.

Abby Hoffmann is a freshman at Sleepy Eye High School. She joined FFA because some of her friends told her it would be a good experience. She also decided to join to have fun and try new things. She is most proud of winning an FFA jacket, being a top-10 fruit seller, and earning the FFA greenhand degree.

Now that she has been a part of FFA for five years, she hopes to help other members grow in FFA. Josie plans to be on the Market Plan CDE team this year.

Josie is one of the reporters on the officer team this year. Josie likes her position on the team because she gets to write and share about all the events that occur in FFA within the community. She also enjoys spending time with the other members and the officer team.

Josie is proud of being a Summer All-Star, earning honorable mention at state fair, first place team at regions for Small Animals last year, third place team for Small Animals at State Convention last year, and being a seven star member.
