The Department of Health conducted their annual survey the Sleepy Eye Care Center on June 16-18 and Kim Hose, Director of Nurses, is pleased to announce that the Sleepy Eye Care Center received no deficiencies on their annual survey.
Virtually every American has or knows someone who has a family member in a nursing home or assisted living facility. Whether it is a spouse, parent, grandparent or other loved one, if you have a family member in a care facility, you want to know that they are safe and receiving the care that they deserve.
According to Kim Hose, Director of Nurses at the Sleepy Eye Care Center, annual surveys are conducted to ensure resident’s safety and care, in addition to making sure their rights are being respected and they have enough stimulating activities to do during the day and over the weekends.
The Department of Health conducted their annual survey the Sleepy Eye Care Center on June 16-18 and Hose is pleased to announce that the Sleepy Eye Care Center received no deficiencies on their annual survey.
Hose said that the result of the survey shows the high level of commitment by the staff members for providing quality care.
“The average number of citations given by the Minnesota Department of Health is 10.1, so this is a huge accomplishment,” said Hose. “We are proud of our staff and the work they do. Our staff is dedicated to providing excellent care to our residents and it showed in our survey. We also have many staff with longevity, which contributes to the quality of care we provide. We continue to strive for excellence to ensure our residents receive the best care possible.”
