  • Sleepy Eye Public eighth graders win girls basketball tournament

  • THE SLEEPY EYE Public girls basketball eighth grade team posed for a photo following their first place win at the Pacesetters Basketball Tournament last weekend in Sleepy Eye. The Indians were seeded first after pool play, and defeated Maple River 48-14 to send them to the Championship. McKenzie Cselovszki scored 19 points to lead Sleepy Eye. In the championship, the Indians defeated the second seed Cedar Mountain 40-27.
