The year 2013 has come and gone and with it many weeks. Fifty-two to be exact, that your Brown County Reminder carrier has left you a copy of our weekly shopper.
During the course of the year, some may tend to be light and not much of a weight burden to those carrying the paper. However, there have been weeks when the Reminder has been heavy and carrying a hundred or so of them can be a chore.
Those carriers for Sleepy Eye are: Marie Hauser, Jacob Pulley, Peggy Tauer and family, Dylan Wersal, Jessica Haag, Ethan Fischer, Tim Haag, Susan Pedersen, Bruce Lokensgard, Dylan Klein, Paula Ziegenhagen and family and Sandy Flores. In Springfield the carriers are: Joseph Hoffmann, Sierra Janssen, Ashley Larson, Christopher Longsdorf, Jennifer Schroeder, Jackie Reindl, Johnathan Longsdorf and Springfield coordinator Mary Beth Hoffmann. To each of you we say Thank You!
I know carrying the Reminder is a thankless job, but when you are diligent, we hear nothing from our readers or advertisers because they know you have faithfully delivered the Reminder to each home. However, when that paper fails to reach homes, our phone is ringing and so is that of the advertisers.
We greatly appreciate the fact that you are out whether the weather is nice or not. Kind of like the mail man.
When we hear from a reader early in the day on Mondays, we remind them you have from noon on Sunday until 5 p.m. Monday to get the paper to their door and that it will more than likely be there before 5 p.m.
So if you feel you are unloved, please know we greatly appreciate that you are delivering the Reminder each week to readers in Springfield and Sleepy Eye!
Thought for the week: Character
Character is an essential tendency. It can be covered up, it can be messed with, it can be screwed around with, but it can't be ultimately changed. It's like the structure of our bones, the blood that runs through our veins. – Sam Shepherd.
