Throughout high school at Sleepy Eye Public, Austin has been involved in various activities in FFA as well as played several sports.

Austin is active in his church and also finds times for his hobbies of hunting, fishing, working on cars and spending time with friends and family.

Personal values and strengths that Austin believes will help him succeed are hard work and determination.

“I have learned that you need to work hard and do well in all aspects of your life, no matter what it is,” Austin said.

The greatest influence in Austin’s life has been his grandfather, William Trebesch.

“He values hard work and family, which are also important to me,” Austin said.

After high school, Austin plans to attend South Central College in Mankato and enroll in the agri-technician program.

At St. Mary’s High School Mike has been a multi-sport athlete, as well as a member of National Honor Society where he currently serves as president. Mike has also participated in the International Science Fair the past two years.

In the community Mike is active in his local 4-H club serving as vice president. In addition Mike is active in his church as a mass server and choir member and volunteers his time at the local food shelf and Food for Kidz.

The personal values that Mike said will help him to succeed include a good work ethic, perseverance and a sense of optimism.

The person who Mike feels has had the greatest influence in his life is his mom, Sharon.

Following graduation Mike plans to attend college to study aerospace engineering at the University of Minnesota.
