The Veteran’s Park Committee shared information on possible phase three additions to the park. Some drawings and the related financial information were shared. The total number of bronze plates is nearing 135, with more in the process of being ordered. None will be added to the wall until spring, since the temperature needs to be warm enough for the plates to be secured to the wall. The committee will continue to focus on the completion of the park in the summer of 2014. Anyone wishing to make a tax deductible contribution toward the park before the end of the year should feel free to contact the EDA office at 794-5636.

There was discussion on the Snow property and the activity that is currently under way regarding it. More detailed information will become available as things progress and information can be made public.

Updated information was shared regarding the Eagles Club Orchid Inn and their work with the Small Business Development Center. There will be continued action encouraged by the EDA Board with the two groups as they work cooperatively towards successful accomplishments for the Eagles organization.
