  • Holiday event for preschoolers Dec. 10
    • email print
  • The only activity remaining from our fall newsletters and brochures is a holiday activity event for preschoolers and their families. It is planned for Tuesday, Dec. 10, 6-7:30 p.m., in the ECFE rooms 319-320 at Sleepy Eye Elementary School. Come enjoy a night of holiday spirit! Spend time interacting with your child making crafts and reading stories. A variety of activities will be prepared for children and their parents to participate in. Plan on frosting cookies, playing games and listening to holiday music!
School Readiness conferences were held last week and an opportunity to apply for the Early Learning Scholarships was provided. This is a wonderful opportunity for our program to provide more days during the year, offer extra transition time with kindergarten classrooms, as well as some parent/child classes all relating to kindergarten readiness. We plan to add some resource kits for the Creative Curriculum that we are using as well. As with many grants and entitlements, there are many forms to complete and submit which does take time for staff to finish.
Discovery Time conferences are scheduled for Dec. 16 and 17.
