The Amazon.com show "Alpha House" will debut at 12 a.m. on the website (or through streaming devices). John Goodman is the main character in the show created by Garry Trudeau (of "Doonesbury" fame). The first three episodes are free to everyone, but the remaining episodes are only available to Prime subscribers.

Can't get enough of "The Simpsons"? It's coming to cable next year. FXX won the cable bidding war for the cartoon's 500-plus episodes in a deal that cost around $1 billion, analysts say. The episodes will begin airing next August on the channel.
