  • The annual Festival of Interests will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eagles Orchid Inn.

  • The annual Festival of Interests will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eagles Orchid Inn.
     
    This event is sponsored by the Sleepy Eye Area Historical Society and made possible by a grant provided by the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council from funds appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature.
     
    Besides the local vendors offering items for sale, a special attraction will be Dr. Galvin with his Blue Grass band “Northern Drawl.” They will take the stage beginning at 7 p.m.
     
    Other musical talent will include Aaron Hirsch on the piano beginning at 6 p.m.
     
    Tickets for the event are available at the Depot Museum, Randy’s Family Drug and Gift, the Sleepy Eye Area Chamber of Commerce Office and Schutz Family Foods in Sleepy Eye, and the Brown County Historical Society and Museum in New Ulm.
