  • DISH reaches agreement for Mankato stations

  • DISH Network L.L.C., a subsidiary of DISH Network Corporation, announced that it has reached an agreement regarding the continued retransmission of United Communications’ stations in the Mankato markets.

  • DISH Network L.L.C., a subsidiary of DISH Network Corporation, announced that it has reached an agreement regarding the continued retransmission of United Communications’ stations in the Mankato markets.
     
    “DISH is pleased that our work on behalf of customers has resulted in an agreement for the restoration of access to United’s CBS and Fox stations,” said Sruta Vootukuru, DISH director of programming.
     
    “We thank our customers for their patience while we negotiated a deal that allows us to provide channels at the best value.”
     
    Effective immediately, DISH will begin restoring the broadcast of United’s KEYC (CBS) and KEYC-DT2 (Fox) in Mankato; and WWNY (CBS) and WNYF (Fox) in Watertown.
    Terms of the agreement between DISH and United were not disclosed.
