  • Halloween is a night for giving and receiving. Both “little” and “big” kids will be out trick or treating on Halloween, but for two very different reasons.

The “little ones” will be coming to the door excited for treats. The “big kids” will be at the door to pick up the full bags of food at your homes and taking them to the Sleepy Eye Area Food Shelf (SEAFS) to be given to those who are often short of food for their families.

Please place non-perishable food items for SEAFS in a location in front of your home. Between 6 to 8 p.m. National Honor Society students from Sleepy Eye Public and St. Mary’s will be picking up the bags.

The SEAFS board of directors wishes everyone a safe and happy Halloween.
