Sign up for All Day Quilting class
We are just getting started with our Babies classes for the year. A first class was held a couple of weeks ago and the second one will be this Saturday morning, Oct. 26, 9:30-10:30 a.m. It is a great way to meet other parents with new babies and discuss the many changes parents see in their own lives, as well as how fast the new baby changes. Families can join the classes at any session and be sure to call for the next meeting date.
Many people have been saving Land O’ Lakes milk caps for a number of years and the company has ended the program for schools. They quit printing the rebate sticker on the caps in July, but it is surprising how many have still been turned in. The ones that have been received will be sent off next week.
Still on the list of items collected for rebates are Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education and shop Sleepy Eye receipts.

A fall session of classroom Driver’s Education will be held during November. Sign-up sheets and potential dates are available in the school offices. Thirty hours of classroom instruction is needed which amounts to 10 three hour sessions. Most of them will be 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings. It is necessary to finish by the end of November as there are few open dates after that. Classes will be open to anyone who is 15 by Dec. 31. The spring session will be held in March.
