Quilting, knitting, 55 Alive on fall schedule

School will resume for students in our district on Monday, Oct. 21 due to the Education Minnesota break Oct. 17-18. Most of the school buildings and offices are closed during these days except for practice times. The fall colors have been beautiful and the leaves are beginning to fall. It has been great weather to be outdoors.

Some local projects were completed for the United Way of Brown County Area at the annual Day of Caring on Oct. 12. Thanks to those who submitted things to do, as well as those who volunteered to do the work.

It is necessary to finish by the end of November as there are few open dates after that.

Classes will be open to anyone who is 15 by Dec. 1. The spring session will be held in March.
