New this year is “Northern Drawl,” a musical group featuring Dr. Carroll Gavin, formerly of Sleepy Eye. Aaron Hirsch, an accomplished pianist and organist, will also be on hand to provide musical entertainment. Hirsch graduated from St. Mary’s High School and went on to the University of Minnesota where he earned a Masters degree in music.
The Festival of Interests will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eagles Orchid Inn. The event features food, craft and art vendors, an art show and a silent auction.

This activity is made possible by a grant provided by the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council from funds appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature.
