Have you ever been so happy with how things are going? Your job, family or life in general? Things are clicking along so well, you wonder when the bridge you just discovered to happiness will collapse?
Life never promised a garden full of beautiful roses, but it did promise a new day. What you do with that day is yours to choose.
You can sit and wallow in self pity about how life has handed you a manure pile, when in reality that very pile could be the fertilizer you need for tomorrow’s plan.
Each day is a new gift to use the talents God has given each and everyone of us. If you are stuck in that hole, you need to start climbing one baby step at a time to finding what it is that makes you happy.
If you are upright and taking in air, God has just blessed you with another day. Don’t waste it!
It’s an amazing feeling when you stop concentrating on you, and focus on someone else. If you have time to spare... share it. Make a stop at a nursing home and visit a resident or someone who is a shut-in. The smile you bring them will bring a smile to you as well. Be thankful for today and every day.
Thought for the week: No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings. – William Blake
