  • This is a busy week for Sleepy Eye students as both schools have homecoming with all of the activities planned for the week, as well as a football game on Friday night.

Fall is in the air some days and then again it may be summer that we feel. As the days get shorter, there is more time to do things indoors. The knitting classes will begin again on Friday, Oct. 4, 3:30-5 p.m. in Room 109. Days chosen for this fall are Oct. 4, 11 and 25, as well as Nov. 1. So bring your projects, questions and unfinished items to work on. If you would like to start knitting, just bring a set of number 8 needles as we have yarn and patterns.

The next All Day Quilting class will be on Saturday, Oct. 12 beginning at 8 a.m. It is also the Day of Caring for our community. A team is being formed and there are usually a few projects to do in Sleepy Eye. The more people involved, the quicker the projects get done. Call if you are interested in helping give back to the community.
