St. Mary's and Sleepy Eye Public are began their Homecoming week's this past week beginning with coronations.
Mike Hirsch and Larissa Helget were crowned homecoming King and Queen at St. Mary’s homecoming coronation on Sept. 22. Sleepy Eye Public School students crowned their Homecoming king and queen Monday evening. The royal court includes from left, Claire Krumbach, Sam Hirschboeck, Katelyn Tessmer, Austin Trebesch, junior attendant Emma Braulick, queen Jamie Fischer, king Brandon Polesky, junior attendant Carson Erickson, Spencer Weicherding, Shelby Jensen, Juan Montemayor and Hanna Sellner.
All throughout the week the respective schools will be holding in-school celebration activities in preparation for their Homecoming games on Friday evening.
St. Mary's will hold their Homecoming pepfest Thursday, Sept. 26 beginning at 12:30 p.m. Sleepy Eye Public will hold their pepfest on Friday, Sept. 27 beginning at 12:30 p.m.
St. Mary's plays their Homecoming game against New Ulm Cathedral on Friday, Sept. 27 beginning at 7 p.m. Sleepy Eye Public will play their Homecoming game at 7 p.m. against Martin County West.
