A new report released today by the Census Bureau says that 46.5 million Americans are still living in poverty, even after the recession. Also reported was that income is 8.3 percent below where it was pre-recession, in 2007.
Hot video: Clear skies allow rescue of people, pets
Skies cleared over Colorado on Monday, allowing rescue crews with helicopters to reach and rescue scores of residents. Rescue workers say that in some cases, they were rescuing even more pets than people.
