St. Mary's kicked off its annual Marathon for Non-Public Education with a school-wide game of Pictionary on Thursday, Aug. 29.
With the help of elementary principal Mary Gangelhoff, third grader Kallie Zarn drew a “letter” to represent the letters sent to our alumni requesting donations. Third grader Kaden Ryer easily guessed the correct answer.
Students from each grade drew and guessed objects representing the Marathon while emcees Scott DeMaris and Andrew Bach explained their significance.
The Marathon, an important fundraiser and show of support for Catholic education, will take place on Oct. 11.
