The American Cancer Relay for Life Committee of Brown County has been busy preparing for the annual event to take place Friday, July 26 at the Brown County Fairgrounds in New Ulm.
The pork supper and silent auction begins at 5 p.m. with a program, survivors walk and lighting of the luminaries.
“Getting cancer is so hard on family members and even friends,” said Rosemary Lendt, Relay for Life Survivors’ Chair. “This past year some cancer patients lost their battle and sadly passed away. This makes our hearts very heavy. Others are still hanging in their and still others seem to have won their battle over cancer.”
The American Cancer Relay for Life Committee of Brown County asks the public to come and show support for all of them.
