Craig Bloemke, age 34, of Sleepy Eye, died on Saturday, July 13, 2013. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Sleepy Eye. Service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye, on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 1 p.m.
The clergy will be Pastor Keith Ainsley. Interment will be at the Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. On line condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.
Craig Michael Bloemke was born on March 20, 1979 in Sleepy Eye, the son of Wilbert Kienlen and Jean (Barnes) Bloemke. He grew up in Sleepy Eye and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School in 1997. He worked at Sanborn Manufacturing, Palm Beach and most recently the Furniture Gallery. Craig enjoyed fishing, doing yard work, spending time with his son and family, and listening to music. He was a very meticulous individual constantly cleaning and organizing.
Craig is survived by his son, Trey Bloemke of Sleepy Eye; mother, Jean Bloemke of Sleepy Eye; siblings, Donna Sellner (Randy Larsen) of Sleepy Eye, Lori Neidecker (Kevin Reinarts) of Sleepy Eye, Jay Sellner of Springfield, Sherri Sellner of Sleepy Eye, Paul (Kari) Bloemke of Nicollet, Debra Bloemke of Sleepy Eye; maternal grandmother, Grace Barnes of Sleepy Eye; and uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert Kienlen; maternal grandfather, Collin Barnes; and paternal grandparents, Arnold and Val Kienlen.
