  • The Dyckman Library is pleased to announce its latest service: downloadable digital magazines.

Access is free to all Traverse des Sioux patrons with a valid library card. Find out more by visiting the library or going to www.rbdigital.com/traversedessiouxmn/service/zinio.

This new eResource offers card holders free online subscriptions to well over a hundred of the most popular magazines. From Cosmopolitan to Car and Driver, Martha Stewart Living to Men’s Health, Consumer Reports to Weight Watchers, Zinio has something for everyone.

“If you have an eReader capable of downloading apps, there is no more waiting to check out the latest issue of more than 70 magazine titles,” said Gail Christensen, Librarian, “All the subscriptions are available 24/7 with simultaneous access, so multiple people can access the same issue at the same time.”

Digital magazines can be read online from any computer or with the Zinio app on any Apple or Android device. Issues never have to be returned and can be archived on your device and referred to anytime. Borrowers don’t have to worry about due dates and the library doesn’t have to worry about printed copies getting damaged, lost or destroyed.

This new service compliments Overdrive, the library’s free eBook and eAudio service launched two years ago.
