There are a few new beers that will be hitting shelves soon that you may want to keep an eye out for.
Bear Republic Brewing Company of California has announced that Cafe Racer 15, will be available in bottles this summer in several states, including Massachusetts.
Cafe Racer 15 is a double IPA, which took a silver medal at the 2012 Great American Beer Festival.
The Cafe Racer 15 is brewed with Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops, and comes in at 9.75 alcohol by volume and more than 100 IBUs.
Another beer to look for is the brand new Hop of the World White IPA by Slumbrew.
This 8 percent ABV white IPA is brewed with peach puree. I’m not a huge fan of white IPAs in general, but the addition of peach puree has me intrigued. I look forward to giving it a try.
Also, the City Steam Brewery Cafe, a brewpub from Connecticut, has released several of its bottled beers in Massachusetts, including the Blonde on Blonde and the Naughty Nurse.
I have the bottles at home and I will try them in the next couple of nights (who am I kidding, I’ll probably have them tonight) and I’ll let you know how they all are.
