There is still time to purchase or reserve a ticket for the Sleepy Eye Community Theatre production “Eclipsed.” This is an audience participation murder mystery. It will be held at the Eagles Orchid Inn on Sunday, July 7 and Monday, July 8. Appetizers begin at 6 p.m. with seating encouraged by 6:15 p.m. The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m., but will be interrupted for salad, main course entrée and dessert. Beverage is also included.
Tickets are on sale through July 5, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The box office will not be open on July 4. You can also call in and reserve your tickets but will be asked to send a check and pick up your ticket at the door. Seating will not be assigned for this event

Community Education has a few activities remaining for the summer. The week of July 22-26 will find youth 10 and older attending the annual Babysitting Clinic. The class meets 8-10 a.m. all week long.
On Saturday July 27, a number of people will be participating in the Quilt in a Day class. Doors will open at 8 a.m. and most will work until 4 p.m. on a project they need to finish or will start a new project.
Lego Design 1 and 2 is offered Monday, July 29 through Wednesday, July 31, 8 a.m. to 12 noon. It is open to students entering grades 1-7. They will be learning science and math concepts during this hands-on learning opportunity.
There is space available in all of these activities at this time.

The Community Education office is located in Room 109 of the Sleepy Eye High School. Summer office hours are generally 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
