  • Sleepy Eye FFA members and officers have been busy this past week “living to serve” the chapter and the community.

The FFA Officer Team picked up rocks in the FFA field to make sure that the field, managed by Brad and Brian Berkner with the assistance of River Region Cooperative and Dean Ibberson, is ready for the growing and harvest season. This field is an important fundraiser for the chapter.

In addition, several FFA officers and members set up the ring for the Southern Minnesota Youth Dairy Show in New Ulm on June 14. The Sleepy Eye FFA chapter has been providing this service for the past several years.
Three FFA officers and one member helped with the Southern Minnesota Youth Dairy Show in New Ulm on June 15, by handing out ribbons and writing down the placings of the various classes.

“Living to Serve” is just one line of the FFA Motto, but in Sleepy Eye, the FFA members and officers serve every chance they are offered.
