On April 16, Kibble Equipment of Montevideo officially closed on the purchase of Bruggeman Co. Inc. in Sleepy Eye.
On May 1, Mankato Implement merged with Kibble Equipment, making the new organization one of the largest John Deere dealer groups in the U.S. and Canada, providing agricultural equipment, parts and service from Montevideo to Albert Lea with 12 stores.
They will become Kibble Equipment Inc. (KEI) and the new direction unites two organizations born from two brothers.
According to former owner and current employee, Mark Bruggeman, the Bruggeman family has been in the John Deere business for 75 years and this acquisition will afford the dealership the opportunity to expand their long-standing commitment of customer service. Bruggeman said this merger allows all 12 locations access to parts and inventory at each location as well has expanding the base of farm equipment.
“The scale, territory and resources will allow us to provide the highest level of customer support, while providing the vehicle for sustainable growth for our customer’s future and our own,” noted Butch Kibble, Vice President of Kibble Equipment, Inc. and Steve Kibble, Vice President of Mankato Implement.
KEI, as a new organization will provide agriculture equipment, parts and service, in locations in Albert Lea, Bird Island, Blue Earth, Kiester, Mankato, Minnesota Lake, Montevideo, New Ulm, Nicollet, Redwood Falls, Sleepy Eye and Wabasso.
