  • A trip to Target Center is scheduled for Thursday, June 20 for a 12:10 game with the Chicago White Sox. Seats are in the Home Run Porch Terrace. Sign up is needed by May 24.
The last June outing is to Valleyfair on Tuesday, June 25. The school bus would leave at 8 a.m. and return by 9 p.m. Children ages 6th grade and younger need to be accompanied by an adult. Registration is needed by June 19.
A reservation was made for the Church Basement Ladies in "The Last (Potluck) Supper." We will be going on Thursday, Sept. 5 for a 1 p.m. matinee. It is 1979, the day of the church's Centennial Celebration and past parishioners have gathered to share hot dish, bars and stories from the last 100 years. As the women work in the kitchen, these shared memories burst into life through a series of flashbacks. As they time-jump thru a century, these ladies manage to serve up a rib-tickling panorama of the changes in the kitchen, without spilling a drop of their egg coffee! Sign-up is needed by Aug. 29.
Summer plans also include trips to the Minnesota State Fair and Clay County Fair. We did receive a call that the Old Log Theatre had been sold and would not be producing a play until October so our June outing is canceled.
