  • Boys team results: St. Mary’s 197, Sleepy Eye Public 201, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 222, New Ulm Cathedral 241
    Girls team results: Sleepy Eye Public 193, New Ulm Cathedral 215, St. Mary’s 232, GFW 236
     
    Both Sleepy Eye Schools competed in the golf quadrangular on May 9 at the Sleepy Eye Golf Course.
     
    The boys event was a close one for the cross-town schools. The Knights won by four strokes over the Indians, with senior Kansas Adams leading the way with a score of 46.
     
    Tyler Netzke and Caleb Christensen each scored a 47 to lead Sleepy Eye Public to second place.
     
    For the girls, the Indians took first place with ease. Senior Emily Curtis shot an impressive 43, which was the lowest score of the quadrangular.
     
    Senior Mackenzie Schutz led St. Mary’s to third place with a score of 52.
