Students who plan to participate in Behind the Wheel instruction during the summer have been returning sign up forms which is greatly appreciated so a schedule can be started. Six hours will be needed and once school is out, students are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are a few slots available in May that would meet after school and early evening for students that do not have any spring activities.
For adults who need 55 Alive Renewal classes, two opportunities remain on the spring schedule: Wednesday, April 24, 1-5 p.m. and Tuesday, May 7, 5:30-9:30 p.m.

The last All Day Quilting session will be on Saturday, April 27, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Bring those unfinished projects or start a new one for the summer.
A number of people have indicated interest in the Tulip Festival at Orange City, Iowa on Thursday, May 16. We had attempted this outing last year, but with the early spring, the tulips were all gone by the festival weekend. This year should bring a normal tulip showing. Besides seeing a variety of tulips, there is a large parade, quilt show, food venders with traditional Dutch foods and a parade of costumes from the different areas of the Netherlands. We would leave at 8 a.m. and return at 7 p.m.
