  • Bridging Brown County would like to invite all Brown County residents to the County Congress session that will be held April 19, 7:30-9 a.m.
     
    The event will be held at the Brown County REA Auditorium, 24386 State Highway 4, north of Sleepy Eye. Enter through the doors on the south side of the building by the large parking lot.
     
    This quarterly session will focus on youth programs throughout the county. We will hear from Kim Janke with the Underage Substance Abuse Coalition, Kari Beran with ProKinship For Kids, Mike Brigger with Healthy Communities, Healthy Youth of Brown County and Alisa Mangen with Brown County 4-H.
     
    Each presenter will share what their program is about and how we can include young people from throughout the county.
     
    The County Congress program is a great way for you to meet other concerned citizens from throughout Brown County, to share ideas and to work together to make Brown County a better place to live, work and play.
     
    The mission of Bridging Brown County is to strengthen the Brown County community by building relationships of understanding and communication. Join Bridging Brown County for this 90-minute program held on the third Friday of April, June, September and January.
