The Sleepy Eye Band and Choir took a three-day trip to Chicago March 22-24.
They traveled by coach bus and took in some of the famous Chicago sights including the Skydeck Ledge, Navy Pier, the musical “Jekyll and Hyde,” a narrated boat cruise highlighting Chicago’s Skyline, Magnificent Mile for shopping, Museum of Science and Industry, and a variety of eating venues.
The students were also involved in a Master Class at Vandercook University.
Students did fundraising to pay for the trip. Directors of the group are Erik Root and Mary Mulry.
