  • Allie Renberg inducted into Iowa Lakes Hall of Fame

  • On March 1, Allie Renberg was named to the first-ever Iowa Lakes Community College Athletics Hall of Fame for women’s basketball at Estherville Iowa. She is a graduate of Sleepy Eye Public High School.

  • On March 1, Allie Renberg was named to the first-ever Iowa Lakes Community College Athletics Hall of Fame for women’s basketball at Estherville Iowa. She is a graduate of Sleepy Eye Public High School.
     
    As a six-foot-one Lady Laker, Renberg was very effective. She earned Honorable Mention All American as a freshman, third team All American, Academic All Region as a sophomore, scored over 1,000 career points, and brought down over 500 career rebounds in a 63 game schedule.
     
    After earning her elementary education degree as a Laker, she accepted a full scholarship to Emporia State University in Kansas where as a Lady Hornet she was named player of the week many times. She scored over 600 points and had more than 300 rebounds. She helped the team reach the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 and Elite 8 tournaments and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
     
    Allie lives in Lawrence, Kans. and teaches fifth grade in Topeka, Kans.. She thanks her parents Brian and Mary and grandparents Pat and Loren for their support during her basketball playing career.
