Sleepy Eye Public School supported the American Heart Association by raising pledges and getting engaged in physical activity March 8.
Through classroom exercises and educational information provided by the American Heart Association, students learned that raising the heart rate with any activity will keep it strong.
Aside from jumping rope, students had a number of activity centers that they rotated around.
Funds raised support for the American Heart Association research and education initiatives and students had fun while they raised their heart rates.
