    Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Planning Commission, in and for the County of Brown, will conduct certain public hearings as follows:
    1. 9:00 AM: To consider a Conditional Use Permit Application of Redwood Tel Acquisition Inc on property described as W 340' of E 647.11' of S 340' of SE4 of SE4 Sec 17 – Twp 111N – R 32W, Leavenworth Township, Brown County, for the purpose of renewing CUP #C-00018 and to continue to allow use of a 240' microwave/cellular tower to be used as a communications facility & to maintain, construct, repair & operate said communication facility inclusive of uses incidental thereto all in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zoning District.

    AND MEETING EDEN TOWNSHIP
    Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Eden Township, County of Brown, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
    The Election Poll hours will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at which time the voters will elect one (1) Supervisor and one (1) Treasurer.
    Annual Town Meeting will convene at 8:10 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

    BURN ORDINANCE
    BROWN COUNTY
    Notice is hereby given, that the Brown County Board of Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19th, 2013, in the Commissioners Room 204 at the Brown County Courthouse in New Ulm, Minnesota to receive public comments on proposed changes to the burn ordinance which includes the following:
    Removal of the requirement to obtain a burn permit from the County for brush piles or running fires. MN DNR Forestry still reserves the right to require and issue any permits deemed necessary with regard to open burning law and statutes.
    Note: Residents will still need to contact the Brown County Sheriff Dispatch Office prior to burning. Materials in burn piles are limited to trees, brush, clean unpainted lumber and tree trimmings.
    A copy of the proposed changes may be reviewed at the Brown County Planning and Zoning Office during regular business hours or on the County website.
