Each year, Volunteers of America Founders Week provides an opportunity to reflect upon the work of Maud and Ballington Booth, their founders, and reconnect with their spirit of hands-on community service.
It also provides a chance to reintroduce the organization to local communities and clients.
This year, Volunteers of America Founders Week is scheduled for March 3-9.
The Sleepy Eye Senior Living Campus uses this week as a time to share the organization's history with residents, clients and employees who may not know that they are a part of a national, 117 year-old tradition of service.
