  • Tip: Dealing With a Faulty Builder
  • undefinedIn a recent advice column on Philly.com, a real estate expert told a frustrated homeowner to call in a Philadelphia roofer to examine her house's leaking roof. The homeowner believed that the leaks were a result of faulty work by a builder. The expert's advice is applicable for other frustrated homeowners, as well, so I am sharing it here. If you suspect that a builder did faulty work, there are two things to do. First, call in experts to evaluate the problems. Next, have a look at the contract that you made with the builder to find out if there is a clause about requests for repairs to the builder's work. It is necessary to call in an expert to evaluate the extents of the problems.
