This year’s Triple A award nominees Tia Cselovszki and Brandon Roiger of Sleepy Eye High School, have earned Sub-section 7 Triple A awards. Tia and Brandon now move on to be considered for the Section 2A award.
Tia will receive her Sub-section award March 5 at the girls basketball sub-section finals and Brandon March 11 at the boys basketball sub-section finals.
Tia is a four-year band and choir student, has participated in One Act play performances and been involved with Speech. She has also played volleyball, basketball and golf, earning varsity level participation in those activities. Tia plans to attend Southwest Minnesota State University to study social work where she hopes to participate in choir and play productions.
Brandon Roiger is a four-year band, choir, One Act Play and speech student. He is involved in cross country and track and field where he achieved varsity level during his eighth grade year. Brandon plans to attend the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities to study agricultural education and political science while being involved in speech and the theatre and drama clubs.
The Triple A award from the Minnesota State High School League recognizes and honors high school seniors who have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field and in the fine arts.
