The first All Day Quilting class for this calendar year will be on Saturday. Sewers begin coming at 8 a.m. and some stay until 4 p.m. Many bring a project that has been started and work on it for the day. As with many quilters, more than one project may be going at one time, so many begin a new project with plans to finish it on their own time.
The participants bring an item to share for morning or afternoon coffee time or the noon meal. It is best to bring a portable sewing machine as the stitches and seam allowances will be the same when you work on your project at home. In case a machine is not available, we have access to a couple that can be used for the day. Other classes during the winter-spring sessions will be on the fourth Saturday of the upcoming months.
