  • Cowboys NT Jay Ratliff was arrested and charged with DWI early Tuesday after his vehicle hit an 18-wheeler, according to multiple reports.

Ratliff was not injured in the crash.

The incident occurred in Grapevine, Texas. A police senior officer told NFL.com that Ratliff refused a breath sample to determine intoxication. He was arraigned and bonded out of jail Tuesday morning.

Ratliff’s arrest comes just over a month after teammate Jerry Brown was killed in a drunk-driving accident when teammate Josh Brent was at the wheel.

Ratliff, 31, played in six games in 2012 because of injuries and made 16 tackles.
