The Brown County Historical Society is once again sponsoring the annual Kitty Lieb historical essay contest.
The essay contest is open to anyone age 16 or older. Entries must be historical, non-fiction and may be on any aspect of Brown County history.
Entries must be between 1,000 and 5,000 words and will be judged on historical accuracy, originality, interest and style.
A monetary prize will be awarded to the first place winner. Other awards will be given by the BCHS board.
Entries must be hand delivered or postmarked no later than Saturday, March 8, 2013.
