Join us for the second presentation in the Life Living series when Katy Smith joins us on Monday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m., at the DAC Auditorium in New Ulm.
Katy Smith is the first Early Childhood teacher that has ever been named Minnesota Teacher of the Year which she received in 2011.
She is not only a great teacher, she is also a wonderful speaker and humorist who will provide great stories and insights about young children. She will explain how today’s environment is so different for young children and how we can “re-capture their attention” as parents.
She truly has a message to share for people of all ages.
Katy’s presentation is being sponsored by United Way of Brown County and New Ulm Community Ed. CEU forms will be available. Then mark your calendar for our final presentation on Jan. 28, when Maria Willits shares her personal story of her son’s suicide.
